GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY FOR 120 LINEAL METERS HIMOGA-AN BRIDGE

Gov. Bong Lacson attended on Wednesday the groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of 120 lineal meters Himoga-an Bridge in Brgy. Bato, Sagay City, funded though the Dept. of Agriculture – Philippine Rural Development Project (DA-PRDP).

More than 4,000 households will benefit from the said project aimed at improving the economic activities and further development in the neighboring barangays.

The estimated cost of the project is 76 Million, and Sagay City LGU had a counterpart of P20 Million for the said project, which is targeted to be completed after a year.

The construction of the bridge is facilitated by Negros Occ. Provincial Engineer’s Office with the DA- PRDP and World Bank as implementing partners.

Present in the activity were Rep. Leo Rafael Cueva (Second District), Sagay City Mayor Alfredo Marañon III and Vice Mayor Narciso Javelosa, Jr., and Engr. Remelyn Recoter, Regional Executive Director of Dept. of Agriculture – VI, and Negros Occ. Provincial Engineer Ernie Mapa, among others.
