This has been a preferred area of investment for Negros Occidental which includes canned food products, processed/sweetened dried fruits, dried and/or processed marine products, natural/organic fertilizers, and farming and fisheries equipment and machineries that improve farming/aquaculture efficiency, among others. The growth of this industry would significantly increase the employment in the province providing economic opportunities especially in the countryside.
